The 2014, 4^th of July Dependence                                                                                                                               

The 2014, 4th of July holiday for most people in America will be a celebration of independence away from our Father God.

Because most people don’t know the God of the Bible Christians lift up prayers to, for family and friends. We pray also for all who are yet to come and know the love of Jesus and Bible teachings.

True Christian Americans hope for the turnaround of our culture away from godless values and entertainment exploiting sin’s diverse forms.  We may not understand why God allows it but we pray for His All-knowing will to be done.

Enough of garbage in, garbage out, and look at America now. We pray for more Bible goodness to guide our children.

The Christian values that are sought after, may be in the Christian beliefs found in various expressions of entertainment. The coming Christian movies may expose Christian values and may in some cases send out the gospel message.

So called Christian movies may be good or they may be like a Trogon horse weakening the fortress of good morals.

So called Christian films and DVD’s may be the camels nose under the tent with good intentions but eventually sitting in the tent with the enemy and not taking down the tent.

In expressing the true gospel message of being born in sin and every persons need to be saved from sins consequences which is eternity in hell, a concern with potential compromise is warranted. Christian media should keep the highest standards.

The vehicles of entertainment in radio, television and movies will be answering the Christian audience’s cry for better content. Concerned Americans want to get away from Hollywood’s special effects, cops and robbers, flesh, drugs, and swearing. Dancing with divination or jousting with vampires, evil spirit possessions looks and sounds like secular Hollywood.

On one hand Hollywood’s appeal for exploiting sin, may or may not wane, there’s little doubt it has run its course. On the other hand Hollywood can no longer ignore Christian demand for better content or the box office revenue they bring. Many movie goers want true content of goodness found in lives where God has worked His miracle of salvation.

People want to see true hope in this life and see lives live out their faith daily. They want to see the promise of heaven’s joy portrayed in faith. The time for true Christian beliefs to be exposed theatrically in films is happening now.

Some of the public wants America to still receive God’s blessings.  Christian movie Producers can see, like we all can see America needs help. Displaying God’s truth will please and honor God.

We know God saves souls one at a time. If God allows one soul to be saved from one book, movie or DVD then let’s pray for that soul to be quickened, pierced and brought to salvation.  In our worship of Jesus we pray our motives please and praise Him.

Before our country slides further away from God’s love and protection Americans are seeking Bible believing Christian values that are found in our history.                                                           Prayerfully we hope for changed souls, hearts and minds to guide our Politician’s and entertainment.

The 2014, 4^th of July, dependence on God’s glorious blessings  acknowledge the cravings for more family values based on Bible teachings. Christian film makers will respond to the public demand at the box office.

Pray for the gospel to be exposed clearly not veiled and for ways that openly point to Jesus as Savior from hell.

Live fully to the glory of God and be thankful for the will of God. Each breath we take is by the will of God.
