The topic of eternity is what Satan doesn’t want anyone to be discussing. He’s done a magnificent job of taking people’s minds off of thinking about the biggest question in a person’s life. “Where do I go when I die?”
Families avoid it like the plague, Hollywood has played with it in entertainment and people just say “nobody knows.” Christians have the right answer and the Lord’s command to bring the truth about eternity to all nations. Matthew 28:19-20. There is nothing more serious than heaven or hell forever.
Until Christians bring the truth of the gospel up front in their confronting people with Jesus Christ as a Savior from hell, eternity will remain silent. Where is Christian love for lost souls to be saved?
People are living on borrowed time. Show the hopeless earth as a graveyard and explain how ours and every-bodies sin separates us from a Holy God. Speak of the Bible and point to Jesus.
Tell of our shattered wickedness and the power of Christ. Bring lost souls to the cross to The Mighty Savior of all who believe. Help them to their knees and bow with them at the amazing love of God.
We, who know God and live with hope, know He wants all to be saved, (John 3:17 …but that the world through Him might be saved.) Without Jesus the lost live without hope.
Why does God wait to bring judgment on the unrighteous and rewards for the saved? God isn’t waiting He is perfect with perfect plans and He loves people. Christians have the glorious responsibility of being human instruments of God by bringing hope.
Our own past sinful corruption, our testimony, can show God’s transforming and continual love that may bring hope into dead souls. By confronting peoples common pitfalls and unfolding their sinfulness the power of God’s word can begin to change lives.
Clearly showing how our society willingly embraces sin is evidence of the wickedness that offends our Holy Creator. Christians please show the unsaved how individual and social unraveling is a choice that angers God and is not a path to take, be on or stay on.
Hence a country spiraling down is a nation going to hell, in a world that will be judged by God collectively and one soul at a time. Why does God wait to bring death to some people? Because God is love, 1 John 4:8 He who does not love does not know God, for God is love.
There is nothing more important than to be an active Christian in loving prayer and engaging with others about their hopelessness. Pointing to the word of God, the Bible and our joy in Christ gives the lost a reference point for hope in their troubled times.
Pray for the will of God to bring many souls to Himself today and day after day until we are in heaven with them worshiping our King.
Opaque, incomprehensible is the wall of an unbeliever. But that thin dark glass of not hearing the truth is splintered with one word of God. Today be the voice of God in someone’s ear, it will not return void.
Isa. 55:11 So shall My word be that goes forth from My mouth; It shall not return to Me void, But it shall accomplish what I please, And it shall prosper in the thing for which I sent it.
