A Prayer

Michael D. Rourke Events 0 0

A post from two years ago, the same message then is the same message now, seek God while there is time to do so.

America is under the watch of God. How can people think You are not watching?

How far can one person or millions of people go, from God?

Oh God, do whatever it takes to bring souls to know Jesus. Father God, Your will be done.

For You alone are wonderful. You are our Creator who gives us the breath of life to worship and honor You. Only You are the God of salvation.

Your great love for people has provided a Savior to wash away our sins. Your Son Jesus is God, the only perfect sacrifice for our sins.

You alone are God and You give us what we have. In days past You have made America great.

But we are a sinful people Father, many have turned their backs against You. And America is now…?

Romans 1:20 For since the creation of the world His invisible attributes are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even His eternal power and Godhead, so that they are without excuse,

We once lived out Your precepts and teachings in the land You provided. Your loving guidance was loved by many as You gave them to us in the Bible.

We once were a people believing God is real.

We once worshiped You loudly and we were a people of prayer.

We once praised Your glory, greatness, power and wanted to do Your will.

How far can a nation go in their refusal to draw near to God?

Romans 1:21-23 because, although they knew God, they did not glorify Him as God, nor were thankful, but became futile in their thoughts, and their foolish hearts were darkened. Professing to be wise, they became fools, and changed the glory of the incorruptible God into an image made like corruptible man…

As our nation sinfulness escalates, help us Lord to stand closely near Your righteousness. In the shadow of the cross, on our knees before Jesus we bow.

Your people worship You in our prayers. We adore You and honor You with our lives, living for Your purposes.

Your people want to advance Your kingdom, will, glory and greatness. God the Holy Spirit, stir our souls.

Oh God, do whatever it takes to bring souls to You. Father God, Your kingdom come. Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven.

Hebrews 11:6 But without faith it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him.
