A Sincere Prayer To Jesus

Michael D. Rourke Events 0 0

Our Creator God wants people to live for Him and receive His gift of the Savior Jesus in faith alone, turn away from their sin and hope for heaven soon to come.

Times are getting worse by the day with people ignoring God the Son, Lord Jesus Christ. The choice to ignore the Lord is increasing amid the Coronavirus pandemic. A sincere prayer to Jesus can break spiritual blindness.

The Lord has allowed
death to run about the world and tag more people than it normally does in a day.
Earth is still the graveyard it has always been. Each person has the choice to
cling to their pride and self-reliance or ask God to humble them as death is
inevitable.

Times haven’t gotten
as bad as they were after 911. Scenes on TV after 911, after death came, were
of people waving flags holding signs “God help us.” Days or weeks
later nothing changed, for the most part, people went back to business as
usual.  Time will tell about lives
changed by Jesus now or not.

Praise God for His
great patient love. Praise Him for not wiping out tens of thousands or millions
at once time. The Old Testament clearly teaches God’s infinite wisdom destroyed
multitudes of people in the past, to accomplish His plans. Remember Noah and the
Great Flood.

But, let’s not
forget, some souls are now being saved by God’s grace and mercy. God will draw
His believers to Himself. Through this Covid 19 disaster some souls are being
re-born spiritually forever. Praise God.

2 Corinthians 5:17 New King James Version (NKJV)

17 Therefore, if anyone is in
Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all
things have become new.

Our true support is
invisible, yet our God is real and believable by faith in Lord Jesus Christ.
What Christians can see is their changed lives. They live with God, Father, Son
and Holy Spirit within. The presence of God in an obedient changed life with a
clear conscience is very visible.

Christians live with
God’s given power, hope and faithful love which produces joy in all things and
peace with God our Maker, our Judge.

And the rapture will occur, it may occur at any second.

If a person doesn’t
have faith in Jesus and the hope of heaven to come, what do they have faith in
after their last breath? What do they hope for?
