My lyric “Be Separate Says The Lord” in volume one of The Threshold, Chapter 19, page 338, stresses the Bible’s warning not to be unequally yoked.
2 Corinthians 6:14 Do not be unequally yoked together with unbelievers. For what fellowship has righteousness with lawlessness? And what communion has light with darkness?
The worldwide gathering of likeminded true Christians continues to increase as God’s grace calls His elect to be obedient to Bible Scriptures and be separate from the sinful world system.
2 Corinthians 6:17 Therefore “Come out from among them And be separate, says the Lord. Do not touch what is unclean, And I will receive you.”
Be Separate Says The Lord
Boy and girl may be husband and wife
Fun and laughs, but where’s God in their life?
Wait and see that this life is not joking
Take God’s truth, hear what He has spoken
Who will stand with God? Who will walk away?
Time keeps turning cold hearts from the Rock
God is love, He will not be mocked
Turn your head before the sun goes down
Jesus first, only He wears the crown
Who will stand with God? Who will walk away?
What fellowship has the light with the dark?
Don’t go there, don’t get close to the spark
Come out from and Be Separate Says the Lord
Turn away, and Be Separate Says the Lord
Who will stand with God? Who will walk away?
Joseph ran when he felt her first touch
No excuse letting sin lean so much
Faith will fight, holding God’s Word within
Stay with the Lord, turn from the face of sin
What fellowship has the light with the dark?
Don’t go there, don’t get close to the spark
Come out from and Be Separate Says the Lord
Turn away, and Be Separate Says the Lord

A conversation with Clayton, who is a Christian DJ in Melbourne Australia, was a surprise at 3:30 A.M. and a day early.
The time difference caught me in a sound sleep but the confusion did not hinder the message of the gospel.
