Compromising Christians Beware

Michael D. Rourke Events 0 0

The Bible speaks truth from God.  Jesus came to save sinners from present and eternal consequences of sin. Therefore, believers resist sin and follow Jesus by faith.

Hebrews 10:38 And, “But my righteous[a] one will live by faith. And I take no pleasure in the one who shrinks back.”

Proverbs 28:4 Those who forsake instruction praise the wicked, but those who heed it resist them.

As a Christian, are you comfortable around overt sinful lifestyles and their damaging effects on the sinner, family, friends and society? Or does openly rebellious sin cause you pain within?

Pain from knowing God hates sin. Pain from knowing unrepentant sinners are going to hell.

Covert unrepentant sinful lifestyles also create damage that will show up sooner or later.

Evidence of a growing hatred for sin runs parallel to the thrill of becoming more Christ like.

True Christians are spiritually alive manifesting changed walks of life which honor Father God now and will bring Him ongoing glory.

Christians live in joy without fear of losing their salvation. God’s grace produces great thankfulness and obedience.

A true Christian life is full of grace and struggles purifying their way on a road of fruitful accomplishments praising God’s grace and mercy.  Matthew 7:16-20

However, compromising Christians beware, as well as those who think they’re saved from hell but are self-deceived. A Christians conscience should scream loudly when sin occurs.

Sinning should and will diminish and Bible believing Christian thoughts, words and deeds should and will dominate over time.

Matthew 7:13-14 “Enter by the narrow gate; for wide is the gate and broad is the way that leads to destruction, and there are many who go in by it. 14 [a]Because narrow is the gate and [b]difficult is the way which leads to life, and there are few who find it.”

Flirting with sin or having comradery with practicing sinners, dilutes a Christian walk, taints the Christian testimony and blurs the lines of separation from sin.

Surely by sinning and choosing to turn your back on Jesus, the most spectacular Gem, your testimony of praise will be diminished.

Consequences of sin is God’s chastisement. A close walk with Christ will stumble. Ephesians 4:30 And do not grieve the Holy Spirit of God, by whom you were sealed for the day of redemption.

Bible believing Christians know they have no confidence in their flesh and will vigorously contend with sin’s residual effects. Constant submission to God fights against sinful false pride.

By shunning prideful desires and seeking daily submission to the word of God the exchange from old ways to new ways is enriched.

In watchful obedience, through the strength of Christ, growing love for Creator God’s plans opens the heart to greater heights of humility.

Turning away from sin again and again is living a sincere love for Jesus. Ephesians 6:24 Grace be with all those who love our Lord Jesus Christ in sincerity. Amen.

Redeemed saints, delivered, purchased into the family of God are ambassadors bringing Jesus to people in prayerful thoughts, words and deeds.

2 Corinthians 5:20  Now then, we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God were pleading through us: we implore you on Christ’s behalf, be reconciled to God.

Showing and telling the world your deep, honest, trust, in the gospel expresses perpetual gratitude as a child of the gospel the good news of being joined with God in peace.

Romans 10:9 that if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved.

All sin offends God, He alone is perfect, holy, righteous, just and Most Worthy to be praise.

Being in Christ Jesus, He enables us to willingly be obedient more and more. Ongoing repentance from sin doesn’t stop until heaven.

Secure in Jesus by faith our confidence is in Christ’s victory over sin and sins eternal dominance.

Being born at birth spiritually dead and facing eternal suffering in hell is gone forever.

Being born-again spiritually alive by the grace of God, the Holy Spirit convicts us of sin and teaches us to live holy through faith.

Beware of associating with openly defiant sinners.

1 Corinthians 15:33 Do not be deceived: “Evil company corrupts good habits.”

Continual Christian repentance is rejecting sin and turning to God?  Be strong and steadfast in your Christian belief.

Make sure compromising with sin, sinful ways and sinners is a smaller and smaller issue in your life before God.   Be among the few going in the narrow gate leading to life. Matthew 7:13-14.

Ephesians 6:10-11 Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord and in the power of His might. 11 Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the [a]wiles of the devil.
