The Threshold

Seen on TV, the internet and heard on radio are women who call themselves Pastors, teaching the bible. The airwaves are open to whoever wants to listen. However for a women to teach men is a sin so I switch stations. Biblical authority is being ignored with regards to who is the Pastor/Teacher in a church and that is a sin problem for the people within the church. This is largely seen in liberal churches.

The apostle Paul speaks with the authority of God instructing Timothy concerning the qualifications of an Overseer or Bishop/Pastor/Teacher of the church.

The apostle Paul teaches in I Timothy 2:11 “And I do not permit a woman to teach or to have authority over a man.”

In 1 Timothy 3:1-2 “This is a faithful saying: If a man desires the position of a bishop, he desires a good work. A bishop then must be blameless, the husband of one wife,…”

We read in I Timothy 3:12 “”Let deacons be the husband of one wife, ruling their children and their own houses well.”

There isn’t a gray area in the clear teaching. God allows men to be Pastor/teachers. There are plenty of men to teach the Bible.

God’s word doesn’t allow women to be Pastor’s. Or teachers of men. That leaves women teaching women and children which is what works.

Yet on the radio there are talk shows with women teaching and men listen. Men should be mindful of God’s teaching against that.

Women pretending to be Pastors or who are deceiving themselves into thinking they can be Pastor’s by distorting God’s word are not Pastor’s according to the holy word of God.

Therefore couples who are married by a women are not married since a woman Pastor is forbidden in Scripture.

That’s God’s law. Going against God is like biting the hand that feeds you.

We read in 1 Corinthians 14:33 “For God is not the author of confusion but of peace, as in all the churches of the saints.”

The clear teaching of the Bible is being twisted into sin and true Christian men and women  are saying little about the Bibles truth.

The bottom line is always going to be p r I d e, as the root of all sinning. It’s always the ‘I’ in s I n that won’t yield to God’s will.

People are not thanking God for creating them instead they want to live life their way in sin, offending God and struggling against God’s truth and teachings in the Bible.      We can only obey God now when we are alive, there is no second chance.

Again we see this downward slide of America in its blatant disobedience of God’s word causing confusion as America is drifting farther away from God’s word.

Proverbs 3:7 Do not be wise in your own eyes; fear the Lord and depart from evil.
