God Works In the Heart

Michael D. Rourke Events 0 0

Opening fresh eyes with the recognition of God’s divine truth’s sets the course of each day. He is the eternal Creator of all things, God is love and His control over all aspects of life is for our best. Our view of an amazing God is held in an appreciative, obedient fear which directs all of our daily cycles of life. Counting our seen and unseen blessings at day’s end with God, thanking Him, should be the result of a grateful heart.

A way of life, an attitude an outlook with thoughts of God didn’t start out of nowhere. Everyone’s sin nature from birth keeps their dead soul from the true and living God. Only God can begin a work of regeneration in a heart bent on sin. God alone can twist and turn the heart around to reject sin and accept the things of God.

Each person’s responsibility is to believe in faith and live their belief in the truth about Jesus, the Savior of men’s souls. But only God can do it. It’s a mystery that only God can reveal .

Hearing the most amazing truth about Jesus is found in (John 1:14 And the Word became flesh…) is to believe God became a human, eternal God entered time. Hearing the word of God produces faith. Romans 10:17 So then faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.

A God given faith is how God works in the heart and never stops drawing born again souls to Himself. James 4:8 Draw near to God and He will draw near to you.

The apostle Paul tells us in 1st Corinthians 1:26-31 For you see your calling, brethren, that not many wise according to the flesh, not many mighty, not many noble, are called. 27 But God has chosen the foolish things of the world to put to shame the wise, and God has chosen the weak things of the world to put to shame the things which are mighty;

28 and the base things of the world and the things which are despised God has chosen, and the things which are not, to bring to nothing the things that are, 29 that no flesh should glory in his presence. 30 But of Him you are in Christ Jesus, who became for us wisdom from God – and righteousness and sanctification and redemption –31 that, as it is written, “He who glories, let him glory in the LORD.”

1st Corinthians 2:5,10,12 that your faith should not be in the wisdom of men but in the power of God. Verse 10 but God has revealed them to us through His Spirit. For the Spirit searches all things, yes, the deep things of God. 12 Now we have received, not the spirit of the world, but the Spirit who is from God, that we might know the things that have been freely given to us by God.

In the book of Matthew after Jesus gets into a boat He tells a crowd by the sea the Parable of the Soils. He is asked about speaking in parables by his disciples in Matthew 13:10-11 And the disciples came and said to Him, “Why do You speak to them in parables?” 11 He answered and said to them, “Because it has been given to you to know the mysteries of the kingdom of heaven, but to them it has not been given.”

So, here we have the divine truths of God given to some who are chosen and held back from others. And later in Matthew 28:19 Jesus commands His disciples to “Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations,…” As the ambassadors of the gospel message we tell all and some will come. https://www.mdr-thethreshold.com/tell-all-and-some-will-come/

How much difficulty and how many problems of this world will it take for someone to listen for God’s truth? When will the breaking point of pain and sorrow bring someone to call out to God for Jesus to save them? Matthew 11:28 Come to Me, all you who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.

God’s word tells us in Proverbs 16:2 All the ways of a man are pure in his own eyes, But the LORD weighs the spirits. Proverbs 16:3 Commit your works to the LORD, And your thoughts will be established. Psalm 127:1 Unless the LORD builds the house, They labor in vain who build it; Unless the LORD guards the city, The watchman stays awake in vain.

God gave you a life and God wants to give you a new heart and ears to hear and eyes see His everlasting truth in His Son.

Psalm 86:11 Teach me Your way, O LORD; I will walk in Your truth; Unite my heart to fear Your name.

Jesus is God and wants you to believe He is. John 14:1 “Let not your heart be troubled; you believe in God, believe also in Me.”                  Trusting in Jesus now is having the hope in your heart you can trust forever.

2 Corinthians 5:17 Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new.
