Growing futility on the broad way, among those heading for the wide gate who try to make earth a perfect place, without God, is sad and sadder by the day.
The unredeemed, undelivered, do not love God in sincerity nor live to seek Him first in all they do.
Matthew 6:31-33 “Therefore do not worry, saying, ‘What shall we eat?’ or ‘What shall we drink?’ or ‘What shall we wear?’ 32 For after all these things the Gentiles seek. For your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. 33 But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.”
Time seems to be passing quicker and quicker for all. The unsaved, those without God and those who have head knowledge but not heartfelt love for God, need prayers.
Matthew 7:13-14 “Enter by the narrow gate; for wide is the gate and broad is the way that leads to destruction, and there are many who go in by it. 14 [a]Because narrow is the gate and [b]difficult is the way which leads to life, and there are few who find it.”
As if the slipping sands of the hour glass fall like giant symbols sounding alarms. Heightened awareness to do good, is causing more fingers to point to more bad. To what end?
Psalm 127:1 Unless the Lord builds the house, They labor in vain who build it; Unless the Lord guards the city, The watchman stays awake in vain.
John 3:7-8 “Do not marvel that I said to you, ‘You must be born again.’ 8 The wind blows where it wishes, and you hear the sound of it, but cannot tell where it comes from and where it goes. So is everyone who is born of the Spirit.”
