The world grows darker in sin and rebellion against God the Son, Lord Jesus Christ and His army of Christians. By going about business as usual one needs to question oneself about their own seriousness as a true child of God, “Am I responding correctly to the growing hostility toward, Lord Jesus and Christians?” (Ephesians 6:10-20)
The sin of pride hates Jesus and hates being told to submit to God. The sin of pride will manifest itself through many sins usurping God’s authority. All people are sinners and at enmity with God. Romans 3:23 (NKJV) 23 for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God,
True Christians, the elect, are God’s chosen army on earth bringing His gospel truth, to all people by planting and watering gospel seeds.
Souls must be saved by God’s grace. God offers His gift of salvation to all. Jesus must be accepted as Lord (Master) and Savior and followed, studied, trusted and obeyed. God the Holy Spirit brings growth.
Lost people, unsaved sinners must receive Jesus through faith alone, in Jesus alone or continue on their path without Jesus, going straight to hell. By rejecting Jesus, unbelievers send themselves to hell.
2 Corinthians 5:20-21 Now then, we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God were pleading through us: we implore you on Christ’s behalf, be reconciled to God. 21 For He made Him who knew no sin to be sin for us, that we might become the righteousness of God in Him.
Jesus taught in, John 8:12
12 Then Jesus spoke to them again, saying, “I am the light of the world. He who follows Me shall not walk in darkness, but have the light of life.”
Matthew 5:16 Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works and glorify your Father in heaven.
