Was past American prosperity the cause and result of what made America great? Is current American hope and desire for change only about money?
Is the 2016 race for President post-election change in America only about prospecting for new and more jobs? Is money number one or the will of God?
In America, long ago, way back in the first run toward building and benefiting from economic, and military strength there were foundations to cause and sustain growth. God’s blessings. Benefits from true worship were God’s gift. The result of American history honoring God brought greatness.
A large segment of our nation’s past society not only believed the Bible, many more knew Bible truth, God’s will and even had a healthy fear of God. The general spirit of the majority of early America sought to walk with God and taught their children about God in schools and churches.
The Will of God.
Micah 6:8 He has shown you, O man, what is good;
And what does the Lord require of you
But to do justly, To love mercy,
And to walk humbly with your God?
Like water wears down mountains, time brought too much prosperity diluting biblical thoughts. The sin of pride kept the necessity to humbly seek God at bay.
One can only pray and hope many Americans were rightly guided by their 2016 conscience to vote for a change. Perhaps only in prayer was the hand of God moved to pause and redirect the consequences of sin in America. Sin always has consequences.
Perhaps God listened to the conscience of many seeking forgives and asking Him to not send America down the fast track of more liberalism promoting sin which offends God.
Now in our post-election period of transition we need to pray for the salvation of our new soon to be leader. Pray that he and those around him may seek the will of God, please God and truly hope America is blessed by God.
Pray Mr. Trump will be a leader who knows God is Sovereign, Jesus is Savior and Lord. Pray Mr. Trump knows the people of a country can’t be blessed if sin rules. Matthew 12:30 He who is not with Me is against Me, and he who does not gather with Me scatters abroad.
Great leadership is not about a president with a religion, it’s about a president truly submitting to the will of our Creator God. May God bless America, may His will be done, in the name of Jesus.
America needs to be praying with intensity for all our leaders to be heeding the wisdom of Biblical teaching.
Pray American leadership will reevaluate how to best break away from sin which offends God.
Americans can be thankful to God for His Almighty control to give people more time to seek Jesus now.
There are many who are self-deceived. We need to pray the hand of God will allow His truth to be heard and rightly acted upon.
Jesus in Luke 13:24-28 “Strive to enter through the narrow gate, for many, I say to you, will seek to enter and will not be able. When once the Master of the house has risen up and shut the door, and you begin to stand outside and knock at the door, saying, ‘Lord, Lord, open for us,’ and He will answer and say to you, ‘I do not know you, where you are from,’ then you will begin to say, ‘We ate and drank in Your presence, and You taught in our streets.’ But He will say, ‘I tell you I do not know you, where you are from. Depart from Me, all you workers of iniquity.’ 28 There will be weeping and gnashing of teeth,…”
The most meaningful prayers, the prayers that seek the will of God to draw souls to Himself through His Son Jesus are the most precious prayers. These are the prayers of mothers and fathers, families and friends who know God’s truth, who are at peace with God through faith in God the Son.
God wants all people to receive His gift of salvation from hell by faith in His Son Jesus. Pray for Jesus in your life.
Let the international community witness our reprieve from the disastrous God offending sinful direction America has been led. Abortion and homosexuality are gutting out the core of God’s purpose and design for life which is to honor Him, not live in sin..
Obedience to the word of God. 1 Peter 4:11 If anyone speaks, let him speak as the oracles of God. If anyone ministers, let him do it as with the ability which God supplies, that in all things God may be glorified through Jesus Christ, to whom belong the glory and the dominion forever and ever. Amen.
As world governments look into the face of their own potentially dramatic changes let them pause in prayer to seek the will of God.
The enormous, beyond human capabilities needed to right the wrongs in the world, is the same Supernatural Being needed to make right one soul. His name is Lord Jesus Christ.
This time, this second run for American greatness is without the Christian foundation in the majority of our population. This sad time the majority of people who had voted in the past to trample on the Ten Commandants and Prayer in public schools, had also voted for leaders who legalized sins.
The sin of misplaced pride defying God is America’s foundation of quicksand.
This time we are a nation who appoints Judges that sanction the murder of babies, homosexual marriage, pornography, gambling and legalizing drugs for amusement.
This second-time America is reaching up again for greatness. But = only prayer by the people will be the soft cloud like foundation to stand on.
Those who bow to the One and only true God, the God of the Bible will be at peace with God through faith in Jesus. Nations rise and fall. Time comes and goes. God forever eternal is waiting for all who believe, to draw near and be saved, to be taken to heaven for evermore.
Philippians 4:4 Rejoice in the Lord always. Again I will say, rejoice! Merry Christmas the Savior is born. Jesus is the joy of a New Year.
