Lives matter – but the establishment, the political machine of both parties in Washington are no longer afraid of that truth. When a society willingly goes from protecting the young most defenseless lives to intentionally killing babies the society will fall. Like past civilizations have fallen, not from the defeat of an enemy on the outside, but from decaying on the inside, so is America. But politicians don’t care they are not afraid of the truth or God.
The abortion issue is no longer an issue. The majority of this nation has long since abandoned the biblical principles we were raised on since the Mayflower landed at Plymouth Rock, Dec. 11th, 1620. The further from God we go the worse it will be.
If it is wrong to point out evil then I am wrong. If it is a good thing to point to ways that are right in God’s eye then so be it. Job 31:15 Did not He who made me in the womb make them? Did not the same One fashion us in the womb?
Pointing to evil may stir the hearts and the conscience of others. Yet, it is only God that can change a person to seek what is acceptable to Him. Romans 3:23 for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God,.
Perhaps when more Christians are sincerely praying for God to intervene and are consistently repenting from sin, God may slow His further judgments on our sinful nation.
Jeremiah 18:1-12 8 “if that nation against whom I have spoken turns from its evil, I will relent of the disaster that I thought to bring upon it.”
There may be no help to save this nation from further sliding down the slippery slope of ‘anything goes.’ First its abortion, then its euthanasia, then it may be the physically disabled or mentally impaired. But there is always help for each person who calls out to God for His grace to save them.
Jesus is our Redeemer. Thank God the Holy Spirit conforms believers in the sanctification process to become more and more like the image of Christ.
As Christians we should honor God in all that we do. Worshiping God, the Savior, Lord Jesus for our salvation in Him through faith is a primary endeavor as saved people.
God does not save nations but God does saves individuals who have faith in Jesus Christ alone. Acts 4:12.
Perhaps, maybe, and if hearts will change, God may halt or slow down the slide of our sin legalizing nation. How in good conscience can our country go forward in its disregard for life? Abortion is sin, murder is also.
Perhaps by pointing out the abortion issue a babies live could be saved and by the grace of God a mother’s soul would be saved.
Matthew 5:13-16 “You are the salt of the earth; but if the salt loses its flavor, how shall it be seasoned? It is then good for nothing but to be thrown out and trampled underfoot by men.”
“You are the light of the world. A city that is set on a hill cannot be hidden. Nor do they light a lamp and put it under a basket, but on a lampstand, and it gives light to all who are in the house. Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works and glorify your Father in heaven.”
America needs all the help of the Most High God we can get.
