We pause now and consider what the worst and the best news of tomorrow might bring.
Like approaching colored traffic lights we focus on the current evening news. Breezing through the few green lights of good news we sigh with a grin.
Interest perks up on the yellow caution, with news of a disturbing event. We get the gist of it and frown with an “Oh man! What’s this world coming to?”
The red news flash grabs our attention and lowers our jaw. The newscaster’s voice is stern and solemn with a pause to let us grasp the intensity.
Newscaster: “Before we announce our next segment we must warn you of the disturbing nature of its content. The social environment in America grows increasingly grim. Listeners may want younger viewers to leave the room.”
Newscaster: “In many cities and towns the morbid overtone of terror is seen in the increase of funeral processions. Recent suicide bombs and outbreaks of disease both treatable and those with no known cure are on the rise.”
“Social alarm is growing visibly as crowds gather. Outside factories, restaurants and on street corners people are seeking answers.”
“Parents wait for their children in the parking lots of schools or on sidewalks in hopes of shielding them from danger.”
“Workplace discussions are focused on the steady increase of deaths.
A sense of hopelessness is provoking fear at an alarming rate as productivity slows or is ground to a halt.”
“Rising violence, suicide bombers, disease, high unemployment and food rationing are causing a growing lack of confidence in all elected officials.”
“Grave concerns are raising tensions and causing many Americans to question their beliefs about life, the purpose of life, death, and life after death. Some people are turning to God and reading the Bible.”
“The minority of Americans who are known as “True Born Again Christians” are proving to be of great value to the majority who are not so-called born again or born of the Holy Spirit of God.”
Newscaster: “In response to overwhelming distress, earlier today a spokesperson for the Whitehouse released a statement of hope from the President.”
Spokesperson: “Mr. President assures some of the American people of their eternal security which lies in their faith in Jesus. He says, ‘Jesus saves’ it is a truthful sound bite ‘Jesus saves,’ which has massive eternal consequences.”
“The President also urges all people to believe in the Bible’s gospel message and trust Jesus Christ, the Messiah their only Savior, just as he has done.”
Newscaster: “The spokesperson for the President said the exact phrase the President wanted to share and have repeated was the Bibles good news.
“’Jesus Saves” were the words of our true Christian President and he wants all people to read the Bible and obey God. Receive Jesus now, today, trust and obey.”
In the Bible we read in Revelation 22:7 “Behold I am coming quickly! Blessed is he who keeps the words of this prophecy of this book.”
****************
Only God knows the future and He has written it in the Bible. Only God knows the timing of His plans for Jesus to rapture His church to heaven.
By putting our Creator God first in our thoughts Americans will endure every struggle in Christ’s power.
After the rapture, seven years of tribulation will begin.
3 ½ tough years and then 3 ½ years with all hell breaking lose and God’s horrific wrath sent forth.
If your reading this after the rapture occurs, remember only Jesus saves! Call out to Him and accept His grace in your life and be saved from hell.
The saddest, worst news now and haunting truth in eternal hell is “You refused Jesus.”
