Undoubtedly books and movie scripts are being written capturing the current Coronavirus events. Surely one, two or twelve movies will be made to show the drama of fear from death.
Some big budget secular stories will tell of human reactions and abilities from all key points around the world appealing to the masses with action packed suspense and emotion.
And some Christian plots will try to expose the greatest action of drama on earth. The supernatural gift of God’s grace being received in belief, in faith and trust in Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
With the best and highest motive of presenting the gospel, Christian film makers will try to show what God can only do. When God truly gives love, faith and hope a new life is lived in joy and peace.
Ephesians 2:8-9 For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, 9 not of works, lest anyone should boast.
Make no mistake about it. God is in control of everyone’s life story and only God. There are no surprises, no mistakes and no unknowns. Our Creator God is Perfect in all things.
The Bible clearly tells us the Lord adds to His church, the Lord chooses when, the Lord saves. Acts 2:47 (NKJV) … And the Lord added [a]to the church daily those who were being saved.
Only God will build His church not a movie and God alone chooses His vessels for carrying out His Great Commission (Matt. 28:16-20).
God chose John Newton, a slave trader, human trafficker. Dramatically striking him down the Holy Spirit of God convicted him of his sins. His old ways, his motives, mind and emotions became a lifetime of rubble to walk away from. Newton’s new ways penned Amazing Grace.
2 Corinthians 5:17 Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new.
Movie making, song writing and day to day life are in the hands of God for His purposes alone.
When work is done, any and all work, to honor God, rest in knowing your motives will bow with you, as the Lord scrutinizes your stewardship over gifts and talents, He gave you.
There is so much division in Christendom … what is a Christian … only God knows the heart.
The miracle of being saved from eternal spiritually deadness, hell and brought into the family of God is the most thrilling and humble adventure on earth.
Sadly, God’s word tells us most or Many of the so-called ‘christians’ in the world are self-deceived and still going to hell. God’s truth is; only a Few are true Christians headed for heaven on a difficult path.
Matthew 7:13-14 “Enter by the narrow gate; for wide is the gate and broad is the way that leads to destruction, and there are many who go in by it. 14 [a]Because narrow is the gate and [b]difficult is the way which leads to life, and there are few who find it.
Tragically great numbers of people and many who call themselves Christian will be shattered when the Lord will say the most terrifying words in the Bible, (Matt. 7:21-23) 23 And then I will declare to them, ‘I never knew you; depart from Me, you who practice lawlessness!’
The fruit of true repentance from sin is the evidence of a changed obedient life by the power of God.
God tells us His will in His Word. A Christians great privilege is to read and meditate on the Word of God.
Philippians 2:12 … work out your own salvation with fear and trembling;
