The Threshold

All over the world hurt is being revealed.

Everyday another complaint about situations in life are
exposed like peeling away a layer of onion. Tears are cried worldwide,
as the aroma of hate hits and irritates our senses.

What is at the center of the onion, the
center of hatred?

Terms like white supremacy, systematic racism, racial
inequality, etc. are being bantered about in current events.  The dance around words is nothing new.

Amid the uproar, there is a profound silence
with regard to the deep-down motive for hate, prejudice, bias and racism. 

Louder and louder a variety of illnesses are being heard,
like announcements on a sports arena public address system. Superficial
reasons for slavery always scream greed. But what is greed?

No one is talking very loud about what the cause of greed,
the cause for pain. Greed is a sin.   Sin,
is the cause behind all the wrongs and evils in the world.

Compared to the world’s megaphone on racism, there
is maybe a whisper from very few who are saying sin is what the root cause
is for racism and other conditions and why they exist.

People are born with a nature prone to sin. But
the world still won’t call sin, sin or talk about God. Proverbs
10:12 Hatred
stirs up strife, But love covers all sins.

God is love. 1 John 4:8 He who does not love does not know God, for God
is love.

Shame on the world for
ignoring the destruction of sin and the power of God.

God is good and millions upon millions of Christians
have found help and healing from sin, in the Messiah, Jesus, God the
Son.

God is in control of everything.
No one knows what God will do as He orchestrates world events. His ways are
above our ways, no one knows the mind of God.

Complaining against life
is a lack of acknowledgement that God is good and He is in control.

God did not have to create people. People have a sin
problem and injustice in the world is a result from the human virus called sin.
 

Fixing the world will still leave the sin problem
with death. But God has sent the Savior.

Romans 6:23 For the wages of sin is death,
but the ^[a]gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our
Lord.

God
gave all people Jesus, as the remedy for sin. Peace on earth is found in
Jesus.

takes a wild ride, until law and order collide                               

Costumes
cover silent sin, racism hides deep within

A
poet’s spray shows it all, injustice up against the wall                  

Last
night there was no quarantine, city protest on wide screen       

As the U.S. comes undone, the human race
is lost and one                          

Outlaw
clowns’ riot on TV; rebels burn society

The devil is on patrol, he wants more world control                                           

Social
change is on the way; and sin is waiting for that day                                                                                    

Holy God above, sent all of us Jesus                                                              To bring peace in chaos, from The Circus Of Sin    

Gracious God of love, has given us Jesus  There’s freedom on the cross, from The Circus Of Sin         

Some
trials in life, walk through fire                         

Compassion
can lift, people higher                           

Be
there and listen, show your sincere                      

Have
faith in Jesus, He’s always near                       

So
many mock God out there, a few wait for heaven in prayer                                                                    

The
Lord is knocking on doors, some let Him in forevermore

Satan sang the blues; when Jesus took the pain for you                              

Peace comes from God alone; He’ll
change your heart of stone
