For all people life on planet earth is a short step, a passage way, a simple threshold to go through before moving into eternity. Living in the world is a journey of limited time on one of two parallel truth’s separately running into heaven and hell, each is time without end.
The basis for where a person exists in infinity consists of which of the two families of life they live in. People are of God’s Biblical truth or Satan’s worldly lies. Each system is preparation for where you spend eternity.
1 John 2:15-16 Do not love the world or the things in the world. If anyone loves the world, the love of the Father is not in him. 16 For all that is in the world-the lust of the flesh, the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life-is not of the Father but is of the world.
Satan’s bully world is not God’s truth. The bully lures, pushes, coerces and demands followers away from God’s truth. The bully offers lies and dictates peer pressure to accept His false world. The bully is sin and evil and the world ignorantly follows Satan’s bully lies to hell.
When the first woman Eve, was deceived and believed Satan’s first lie she followed Satan. Adam chose to do as Eve did and he too followed Satan’s lie. Sin was born into their offspring and sin grew as human nature grew, out of God’s truth and into being the bully world hating God.
Jeremiah 17:9 “The heart is deceitful above all things, And desperately wicked; Who can know it?
Human nature goes against God. Human nature ignores God and by default out of rebellion against God human nature aligns itself with the disbelieving world in contradiction to God calling God a myth.

However the truth, the good news for all people is Jesus. Jesus is God and Jesus has defeated the bully Satan. The war of sin and evil against holiness and righteousness has been won. Until the declaration of total victory is given by Lord Jesus, battles with sin and evil continue to rage on earth.
The family of God is the army of King Jesus Christ. Soldiers fight the enemy. The Holy Spirit of God is indwelling them, leading believers by the teachings of the Holy Scriptures. The Bible shows the saving grace of God and how a transformed life of truth and light lives and fights in a darkened world of lies.

Transformation from the temporary to the eternal, from earth to heaven, from an old life to a new life is seen in the life of Paul the apostle.
1 Tim. 1:15-16 This is a faithful saying and worthy of all acceptance, that Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners, of whom I am chief. 16 However, for this reason I obtained mercy, that in me first Jesus Christ might show all long-suffering, as a pattern to those who are going to believe on Him for everlasting life.
Paul had persecuted the early Christian church and was complicit in the death of Stephen. By God’s grace, bringing salvation to someone like Paul, the glory of God is on display for all to see.
Paul’s transformation from a man living according to the sinful flesh into a man indwelt by the Holy Spirit fighting sin and living righteously, brings about our Lords teaching through Paul’s exhortations.
In the book of Romans 8:12-13 Therefore, brethren, we are debtors-not to the flesh, to live according to the flesh. 13 For if you live according to the flesh you will die; but if by the Spirit you put to death the deeds of the body, you will live.
2 Corinthians 3:5 Not that we are sufficient of ourselves to think of anything as being from ourselves, but our sufficiency is from God,
2 Corinthians 9:8 And God is able to make all grace abound to you, that you, always having all sufficiency in all things, may have and abundance for every good work.
Philippians 4:11-13 Not that I speak in regard to need, for I have learned in whatever state I am, to be content: 12 I know how to be abased, and I know how to abound. Everywhere and in all things I have learned both to be full and to be hungry, both to abound and to suffer need. 13 I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.

The highest truth is God, and God is the highest truth.
Truth is what God says it is. Truth says God is real.
Truth is the living word of God, Jesus Christ.
Truth is the written word of God, the Bible.
Truth believed, is a conviction, to live for God.
Romans 12:1 I beseech you therefore, brethern, by the mercies of God, that you present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable to God, which is your reasonable service.
A true Christian is not powerless in the face of sin and does not have to sin. There is no obligation to the power sin once held over us. By the grace of God, for His glory, He has broken the power of sin over our life and gave us God the Holy Spirit living within us to fight against sin.
Pointing to Jesus is the greatest privilege and duty a person, a believing Christian has. Despite the distractions of an unbelieving evil world becoming more evil the purpose of a Christian has not changed.
Without Jesus people only have this earth, their denial of God, death and hell which they deny exists.
Pointing to Jesus, the beauty of our sinless God who died for sinners and was raised from the dead is our living hope for life eternal. God of the Bible is Supreme and Jesus is His best plan for people.
Jesus and only Jesus is what we share with others before they reach either eternity.
