Sin In Your Life Receive Forgiveness

Michael D. Rourke Events 0 0

Wake up to sin in your life, receive forgiveness. There are Overt sins we openly choose to do. There are Covert sins we choose to do in secret.

There are sins we knowingly or unknowingly Commit. There are sins we knowingly or unknowingly Omit.

Romans 3:23 for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God,

Are the sins of Omission worse, like Omitting prayer, Bible reading, worshiping God, seeking Him?

The sins of Omission are no more or less grievous against God than are other sins. All sins offend God, Who, is Perfect and Holy, Righteous, and Just.

But, the number one sin unbelievers choose to Commit/Omit is the sin of rejecting/not accepting Jesus in their life, that is the unpardonable sin.

Not receiving the Savior is the only sin that will send you to hell.

God will not forgive someone who says “no thanks” to His Gracious Gift of the Savior, Christ Jesus.

God the Father didn’t have to but He gave His Son to take the penalty for your sins and to die a horrible death on the cross. Jesus gave His sinless life so you could be saved.

Romans 6:23 For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.

Creator God did not make people to be automatons, robot-like creatures doing what He directs us to do. By the grace of God, all people have free will to receive God the Son in faith and receive now the hope of eternal heaven to come.

But, by rejecting the Savior, you’re not only keeping yourself from the wondrous miracle of knowing God in this temporary life, you’re sending yourself to eternal hell.

God wants us to believe in faith. Hebrews 11:1 Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.

God will forgive all the sins a true believer commits and omits, all sin that is truly repented of with true Godly sorrow.

Live a rich full life saved from hellish torment to come. God wants us to love Him back because He first loved us. 1 John 4:19 We love Him because He first loved us.

Receive the love of the Savior and the love of God the Holy Spirit, let God live within. Matthew 11:29 Take My yoke upon you and learn from Me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls.

When the prompting of the Holy Spirit urges you through Holy Scripture, song, conscience, reading a godly book or dialoguing with someone and you chose not to receive those warnings and encouragements, you’re guilty of too much pride. You’re essentially saying, “I know what is best.” You’re saying “no” to our Creator God.

God’s Holy Scriptures teaches us to pray, to meditate on His word, to commune with believers, to advance the Kingdom of Christ Jesus and to follow Him, and do so more by choosing to sin less.

By relishing in the assurance of salvation here and now we are enjoying a taste of heaven to come.

Another work of the Holy Spirit is to convict us of those sins we love. To lead us through this life, living with a growing love to honor God the Son more and more. Yielding to the will of the Holy Spirit by learning to hate sin pleases God, reading the Bible teaches us to hate sin. True believers hate sin more and more.

Rejecting Jesus is like refusing to breath in God’s gift of air. He created us, He knows what’s best.

Galatians 6:7-8 Do not be deceived, God is not mocked; for whatever a man sows, that he will also reap. 8 For he who sows to his flesh will of the flesh reap corruption, but he who sows to the Spirit will of the Spirit reap everlasting life.

Jesus taught in John 10:10 “I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly.”
