The Greatest Gift And The Newest Year

Michael D. Rourke Events 0 0

Our Adamic sin nature is at war against God, the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit. We all are rebels refusing to be told what to do. But the triune God offers peace as a gift through Jesus. Isaiah 9:6 For unto us a Child is born, Unto us a Son is given; And the government will be upon His shoulder. And His name will be called Wonderful, Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.

Receiving God’s reconciliation gift brings glory to God. Fighting to be positive with God’s plan is the greatest fight against negative sin. The greatest gift and the newest year starts with a prayer.

Call out this #newyear to Lord Jesus saying in genuine belief; “Lord, I’m a sinner, come into my life and please save me from the coming penalty for my sins and punishment in hell.”

Read the New Testament, the book of John is a good start. Ask God to help you find and go to a Bible believing church. Ask God for help to stop sinning. Don’t stop asking God for help and keep trying to keep trying to turn away from sin. The world is becoming a darker place and the Light of true Hope still shines bright for all to see.

God saves one soul at a time from the penalty of sin, He saves them from hell eternal. God may or may not help a nation. A country can enjoy prosperity, power and security while people revel in sin and reject His salvation from hell. God saves the soul that has taken or received, by believing in faith, in His Son Jesus, the only Savior of souls.

Jesus the Gift, is here now. A person, a soul, can either reject or receive Jesus. Ephesians 6:10 …my brethren, be strong in the Lord and in the power of His might.

Do not be misled, by not receiving Him a soul is rejecting Him. Therefore, a person without Jesus, without following Jesus, without being obedient to the teachings of Jesus, is sending their soul to eternal hell. God will judge a person based on the choices they made or did not make. God has given The Savior, it is a person’s responsibility to receive Jesus and escape the consequences of hell.

Romans 10:9 that if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved.

Ask God to let you know He is real. Ask Him for faith to believe, faith is a gift. Ephesians 2:8-9 For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, 9 not of works, lest anyone should boast.

Knowing God is real sets all things in order. God created all the solar systems, earth and humankind in order to bring glory to Himself, He is God. Ephesians 1:4-6 just as He chose us in Him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before Him in love, 5 having predestined us to adoption as sons by Jesus Christ to Himself, according to the good pleasure of His will, 6 to the praise of the glory of His grace, by which He made us accepted in the Beloved.

All people were given the Greatest Gift of peace with God through His Son Jesus. God draws people to Jesus to receive Him. Even though all were given the gift, all people now have the responsibility to receive Jesus. Romans 10:9 that if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved.

Hell is for those who choose to refuse God’s gift and do not receive Jesus. God’s grace to draw people to Himself and human responsibility to receive God’s gift and believe are both true.

Millions know because the Bible tells the truth, the Holy Spirit allows the truth to be believed.

God wants all people to worship His Son Jesus. God saves people through the one-time sacrifice of Jesus, so people will love Jesus and in loving the Son, God is glorified. Ephesians 1:6 to the praise of the glory of His grace, by which He made us accepted in the Beloved.

Jesus taught in John 3:16-18 “For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. 17 For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved. 18 “He who believes in Him is not condemned; but he who does not believe is condemned already, because he has not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.”

But do not be misled, time to be saved will run out. As more sin becomes legal and more and more evil becomes manifest, fewer souls will choose Hope and Truth. Now is the time to be saved.

2 Thessalonians 2:10-12 and with all unrighteous deception among those who perish, because they did not receive the love of the truth, that they might be saved. 11 And for this reason God will send them strong delusion, that they should believe the lie, 12 that they all may be condemned who did not believe the truth but had pleasure in unrighteousness.

But thanks be to Father God for giving peace to believers, for sharing His heaven through the reconciliation work of the Perfect Lamb, Jesus. God sent the Savior, to take away the sins of those who believe in Him, praise Christ Jesus the Messiah. He alone is worth of praise.

Thanks to Father God for drawing more souls in faith by His grace. This Christmas season many around the world have received Lord Jesus, God the Son, as their Savior. Glorifying God the Father, in their steadfast repentance and obedience, true believers await the rapture.

Let the name above all names be lifted up, the Lord Jesus Christ. The Best is in Him.
