God has made know to us the mystery of His will. (Eph. 1:9)
Christians have the insurance of assurance in their salvation to confidently evangelize the lost.
The Holy Scriptures and God the Holy Spirit living within us has changed us for ever and will continue to improve our lives.
When we point others to what Jesus has done in the Bible we also show and tell others of the past and ongoing accomplishments of God’s grace in our lives and other Christians lives.
The God of the Bible is a God of love, patiently waiting for people to turn to Him, wanting all to be saved. Christians are the vessels through which God mediates and accomplishes His plans.
Turning others to the Bible we find the encouraging love of God as He commands all people to seek Him, and call upon Him.
Isaiah 55:6 “Seek the LORD while He may be found, call upon Him while He is near; let the wicked forsake his way, and the unrighteous man his thoughts; let him return to the LORD, that he may have compassion on him, and to our God, for He will abundantly pardon.”
Believing in God first, a person can then begin to slightly grasp the magnitude of God’s holiness and perfection.
Seeing their inability to be good, good enough, better or the best they can be in comparison to God’s vast complete wisdom, perfection and purity a person can see their sin problem of never being good enough to please God.
Admitting to the impossibility of pleasing a perfect God leaves a person yearning for forgiveness and wanting to escape the penalty of sin found only in Jesus. (To be continued)
