The promise found in the Old Testament of the coming Savior, who will bring all faithful believers in Him, peace with God, has been fulfilled.
Eternal souls are saved by faith in Jesus.
Isaiah 9:6 For unto us a Child is born, Unto us a Son is given; And the government will be upon His shoulder. And His name will be called Wonderful, Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.
The Lord Jesus Christ came into the world offering salvation from the penalty of sin and hope to all people. The joy of His appearance is endless joy for the soul that believes Jesus is God, joy now and forever.
Luke 2:11 For there is born to you this day in the city of David a Savior, who is Christ the Lord.
Instead people then and now want their sins of temporary pleasures on a dying planet and remain defiantly bliss as time is clearly running out.
Their ignorance, their certainty of bodily death comes with the lie of total destruction. Living without hope they choose to believe there is no soul that lives forever. That sinful lie has consequences.
John 3:19 This is the judgment, that the Light has come into the world, and men loved the darkness rather than the Light, for their deeds were evil.
Conditions on earth worsen, but God’s truth remains the same. Matthew 24:35 “Heaven and earth will pass away, but My words will by no means pass away.” Hebrews 13:8 Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today, and forever.
John 12:48 He who rejects Me, and does not receive My words, has that which judges him—the word that I have spoken will judge him in the last day.
The word of God is true and makes our morning, noon and night, a rich full event of life here on earth. Richer still we know with assurance and have great hope that our eternal life in heaven is sure to come. Our King and Lord calls us to obediently watch and wait eagerly.
With our three distinct and equal God heads, Father, Son and Holy Spirit in one God, we worship the Almighty Creator of heaven and earth. Our Sovereign God controls all His unfolding plans.
The blessings of Jesus are for all and any who come to Him in humble trust. Stepping closer to God, believing He is real, you find His open arms of love and He gives you faith to follow Him.
James 4:8 Draw near to God and He will draw near to you. Cleanse your hands, you sinners; and purify your hearts, you double-minded.
Rejecting God’s gift, His Son, is the greatest offence against God. Suffering blackness and no presence of God will be found in Hell as the consequences of unbelief.
Torment is waiting for the people who chose not to receive Jesus, the One and only Messiah the promised Savior. But people don’t want to talk about hell.
They have home and fire insurance but no certainty and insurance plan after the last breath. How foolish is that? Everyday there is time to search, the truth of Scripture and people choose to live and remain in ignorance.
For those who have used their time wisely they have received Jesus and live their life changing loving obedience to Him. Followers of God’s truth call Him Lord Jesus Christ.
1 Cor. 15:3 “For I delivered to you first of all that which I also received:” In the cause of Christ we have been adapted into His army of believers.
On the lifelong road to heaven God leads us, protects us, and communes with us. By His grace we keep on believing in faith, trusting and talking with Him, our Father, in prayer.
As we look ahead to the great celebration of the great work of Christ defeating sin, our blessings are immeasurable. Christ died for our sins and rose from the dead, conquering death. Our great King lives now preparing a place in heaven for those who believe in faith, Jesus is the Hope to come. Lord of lords and King of kings.
God keeps His promises. Jesus said He would return and told us not to sleep but watch and be ready. Be at work in faith, planting and watering seeds of the gospel message which only God gives growth to saving souls from hell.
Once God gives His grace, and it is received, the growth of believing in faith continues forever. Ask for faith to believe.
Obedience is the product of genuine Christians responding to God’s truth by wanting more of God’s truth in the Bible. Wanting more worship more fellowship and more of God in their life, their thoughts, words and deeds.
Matthew 6:33 But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.
2 Corinthians 6:2 Behold, now is the accepted time; behold, now is the day of salvation.
