The Marching Call (Part Two)
Exhortation from living in the light of Christ’s return and believing in the urgency to fulfill the great commission may be timelier now than ever.
The rapture can happen NOW, at any moment. Every Christian in the daily mission field of life can be proclaiming the truth about Christ NOW stimulating others to hear the marching call.
Our daily thoughts and prayers can be ready for an opportunity to tell someone of our joy in the truths of the Bible.
Jesus gives us the marching command in Mark 16:15-16 And He said to them, “Go into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature.”
Verse 16 “He who believes and is baptized will be saved; but he who does not believe will be condemned.”
Those who wrongly refuse God’s gift of salvation, falsely think they are secure in this life. After their last breath they have no plan, no fixed hope.
NOW, Christians are to exhort one another no matter what the circumstance, season of life or level of understanding with the things of God.
1 Thessalonians 4:18 Therefore comfort one another with these words.
Encouragement for fellow believers to strongly finish the race will come to a close someday. Until then we have our marching orders.

Among all the people of the planet some are the chosen, the elect of God. Those that truly believe in faith Jesus Christ alone as their Lord and Savior will discover they’re the elect.
Where are the elect of God found, to be preached to? Everywhere, all over the world and only God knows exactly who they are.
The word of God, His Holy Scriptures, are still being preached and keep reaching more and more of God’s people.
2 Peter 1:20-21 knowing this first, that no prophecy of Scripture is of any private interpretation,
Verse 21 for prophecy never came by the will of man, but holy men of God spoke as they were moved by the Holy Spirit.
2 Timothy 3:16-17 all Scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness,
Verse 17 that the man of God may be complete, thoroughly equipped for every good work.
1 Corinthians 15:3 For I delivered to you first of all that which I also received: that Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures,
Galatians 3:22 But the Scripture has confined all under sin, that the promise by faith in Jesus Christ might be given to those who believe.

In the New Testament the Apostle Paul continues to speak about the surety of the elect or those chosen by God. The gospel is told to all and some will come to believe.
Those that receive God’s grace believing in faith and stay the course will discover they’re the elect.
Ephesians 1:4-6 just as He chose us in Him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before Him in love,
Verse 5 having predestined us to adoption as sons by Jesus Christ to Himself, according to the good pleasure of His will,
Verse 6 to the praise of the glory of His grace, by which He made us accepted in the Beloved.
2 Timothy 2:10 Therefore I endure all things for the sake of the elect, that they also may obtain the salvation which is in Christ Jesus with eternal glory.
In the opening verses of the book of Titus, Paul writes of his faith in his election, truth, godly living, hope of eternal life and his commitment to preach the word of God.
Titus 1:1-3 Paul, a bondservant of God and an apostle of Jesus Christ, according to the faith of God’s elect and the acknowledgment of the truth which accords with godliness,
Verse 2 in hope of eternal life which God, who cannot lie, promised before time began,
Verse 3 but has in due time manifested His word through preaching, which was committed to me according to the commandment of God our Savior;
***************
The grace of God is a gift of belief in His Son Jesus the Savior of sinner’s souls. The gift is irresistible and a human responsibility to accept it.
God the Father’s plan to save sinners from hell and bring them to heaven is only through His gift, Jesus, God the Son.
Jesus came to earth to die on the cross to pay the penalty, for those who believe in Him. The wages of sin (not believing) is spiritual death, the pains of hell, eternal separation from Father God.
Salvation is an act of grace by God to sinners who believe in faith that Jesus is God and His perfect death on the cross satisfied God the Father.
Accepting the Savior Jesus, can only come to the sinner who asks (prays) to receive Jesus into their life by humbly believing in faith.
Faith comes by hearing the word of God, the Holy Scriptures, the Bible and believing the truths of the Bible. Asking God for the faith to believe is what God wants.
The words of Christ teach us in Matthew 7:7-8 “Ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you.”
Verse 8 “For everyone who asks receives, and he who seeks finds, and to him who knocks it will be opened.”
The prideful unbelief of not asking in humility, seeking or knocking to find the things of God’s grace is to denial the hope found only in God’s gift, in His Son Jesus.
Men and women have the choice to sin. Not believing is a sin. To refuse God’s gift, the gift of His Son’s sacrifice is the greatest of all sins.
When the Holy Spirit is advancing with the good news of the gospel and a person says “no thanks” it is blaspheming God. That sin is the unpardonable sin and that person is sending them self to hell.

God created the earth and all the solar system, believe it or not.
God created a man and a woman, believe it or not.
God’s ways are not our ways He is infinite and we are finite, believe it or not.
In Father God’s plan God the Son Jesus died on the cross in our place, believe it or not.
Romans 10:9-10 that if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised him from the dead, you will be saved.
Verse 10 For with the heart one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.
Believe while there is time to believe.
With Jesus heaven is in view.
