Just now, driving home I heard a Glenn Beck (a Mormon) interview a spokesperson of the Seventh Day Adventist’s. Mr. Beck, a member of the Mormon cult, asked Mr. Spokesman, a member of the SDA cult, to define the SDA stance on what they believe.
Mr. Beck is an advocate for Dr. Ben Carson, a member of the SDA cult, who is running for president. Just as Mitt Romney (a Mormon) wasn’t called out on his false religion, this time Ben Carson hopes not to be noticed as a wolf wearing sheep’s clothing. Wake up true Christians, wake up!
Never was the central question to Christianity asked in the interview, “Do you believe Jesus Christ is God.” The truth that Jesus is God, is what the Bible teaches. John 14:9 … He who has seen Me has seen the Father;…
Since neither cult organization or it’s members believes Jesus is God, the questions and answers danced around the quasi conception of Christian similarities. They are both FALSE religions.
The massive deception of evil in evangelicalism is being poured out to the so-called evangelical Americans and the casual Christians are taking it in. Christians need to wake up out of there sleepy, drifting along, don’t rock the boat, Christian in name, attitudes.
Christianity is in spiritual warfare and the army of our living God, Jesus Christ, is under attack. Ephesians 6:11 Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil.
The issue with the SDA believing Jesus is God is tied to their belief in keeping the Old Testament law of the Sabbath as part of their salvation. Essentially it’s a work, adding to Christ who is complete. There is no reason to drag the OT law of the Sabbath into the New Covenant. Romans 10:4, Christ ended the law.
By adding the requirement of keeping the Sabbath as part of salvation (keeping the law) in Christ, it amounts to Christ plus works. Therefore the Christ they believe in as God is insufficient and needs their work of adding OT law. The Bile teaches salvation is trusting in Christ alone, in faith alone, by God’s grace alone.
If anyone believes in a jesus that is not enough, and needs to add to him, then that jesus is not God. The Son of God the SDA believe in is a God plus works. Paul teaches in Colossians 2:16-17 not to observe any festivals, new moons or Sabbath day. Believe in Christ and Christ alone.
The New Testament church met on the first day of the week, Sunday, the lords day, signifying His Resurrection. Christians still meet on Sunday.
