The quality of life continues to decay amid the confusion caused by sin. Some people have weakened their appetite to live good in the eyes of God. Most are starving for Him.
But that good America was way back then, the new reaping America is happening now.
Job 4:8 Even as I have seen, Those who plow iniquity And sow trouble reap the same.
Americans keep turning away from the protective covering of God’s Biblical truth they once had as a nation whose majority of citizens sought to please their Creator.
What was good has become bad. What is good continues to become bad. And bad is good.
News keeps changing between fake and real. TV talking heads keep chattering about the unfixable problems, while their loyalties are to their paychecks.
It seems as though nothing can slow the world from the rapid rate at which it’s getting more and more corrupt.
Society is melting down; decency and good morals are replaced with a craving to run from God.
A lust to satisfy sexual desire at all cost has murdered over 58,000,000 babies in America since Roe vs. Wade in 1973.
All great nations rise and fall. Not one great one ever came back to be great again.
The struggle for a good life once meant marriage and raising children to honor God with their lives. The sense of fairness was raised in God fearing families.
People knew and admitted they were sinners. They received God’s Son Jesus, as their Savior from the penalty of their sins. People trusted their lives in the hand of God as they walked with Jesus.
These days it seems like you have to look fast to see the changes from good to bad and bad to worse. From day to day, even hour by hour, at any view point you can catch an objective glimpse of America sliding down the back side of greatest. Like a mountain with two sides, up and down.
If you’re still on top looking down and you’re still holding God’s hand you see how many more heartaches there are. If you never knew God you ‘re seeing how many more backs you can stand on.
If you are on the bottom end of our nations greatness you’re looking up and seeing those folks who worked hard and had things going their way losing it. They’re coming down in the new American way of life called Austerity. That just means they’ll have to live with less like the rest.
There seems to be no shortage of deep division and seeds of discord which have grown like thorns. Mark 12:25 But Jesus knew their thoughts, and said to them: “Every kingdom divided against itself is brought to desolation, and every city or house divided against itself will not stand.”
Like a dark cloud that won’t blow away, misinformation, half-truths, and false redirection are the product of any nation in the shadows of abandoning their Creator.
Hosea 8:7 “They sow the wind, And reap the whirlwind.”
Running low in the hourglass of hope is democracy, freedom of choice, national security, and the idea that there is enough time, food and water. The effort to save the planet without considering the Creator’s plans is a waste of time.
2 Peter 3:10 But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night, in which the heavens will pass away with a great noise, and the elements will melt with fervent heat; both the earth and the works that are in it will be burned up.
The damages done by sin to all societies are getting bigger and wider.
Sins corruption to the planet and to each un-saved person’s mind, body and soul is non-stop, until Jesus comes back. To the saved there is eternal hope beyond the grave called earth.
2 Chronicles 16:9 For the eyes of the Lord run to and fro throughout the whole earth, to show Himself strong on behalf of those whose heart is loyal to Him.
Mark 13:7 But when you hear of wars and rumors of wars, do not be troubled; for such things must happen, but the end is not yet.
May God keep lifting up the men Pastor/Teachers who preach and teach the full word of God. God bless their faithfulness to shine a light in such a dark world.
For we are a sinful people, prone to sin, again and again against a perfect God. We need reminders of our natural sinful natures and that great love of our forgiving God.
Preach the word, trust the Lord Who is ahead of you on the path of life and walks next to you and lives within you. You are safe in Him.
