The Threshold

The great con began in the Garden of Eden. The Devil told Eve a lie and she believed his deception. But Adam was not deceived he chose to sin. Both fell from being sinless. Thus following Adams choice to sin the human race is born with a sinful nature and into the fallen pattern of choosing sin. Humankind has been under the strong influential power of the Devil and has chosen to sin ever since.

The great deceiver Satan, has led most people into believing the ruse that humans are in control of their life and the planet. The father of lies (the god of this age) has and is continually guiding people into ignoring God and their sinfulness. The Devils misguided pretext of building peoples pride, with their self-control issue, is in truth a false control. While pride is pretending to be in control, no one is truly the captain of their own ship! 2 Corinthians 4:3-4 But even if our gospel is veiled, it is veiled to those who are perishing, 4 whose minds the god of this age has blinded, who do not believe,…

Two thousand years later the majority of people still believe the Devils lies. Centuries of human effort to direct and redirect world outcomes still has the planet heading for destruction. Leaders worldwide are moving rapidly in a gesture to come up with a universal remedy. The best the world can offer is but another placebo of feel good efforts. By not taking into account God is real, all human solutions will be looked on in hindsight as not being the real solution. James 4:4 … Whoever therefore wants to be a friend of the world makes himself an enemy of God.

Without asking God for His supernatural grace, found only in Jesus, attempts to fix the planet are all in vain. 1 Corinthians 2:14 But the natural man does not receive the things of the Spirit of God, for they are foolishness to him; nor can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned.

In the same two thousand years there has always been the truth of God, opposing the Devil’s lies. Not one of the many gods, not a new god, and not a different form of god, but the one and only God. The God of the Bible is no placebo.

Believing in and having saving faith in the one true God, Jesus Christ, the Savior of humankind is no placebo that fades away. Jesus, God the Son, came in the flesh and His miracles were witnessed by tens of thousands and documented by Christians, as well as secular historians. The words and deeds of Christ the Messiah live on in the hearts of true believers. The Bibles words and truths will endure forever.

By the gift of God’s grace, God the Holy Spirit lives in those who have true, saving, life changing faith. With this believing faith Christians become obedient followers of their Savior, Christ Jesus. God has spoken with regard to what His will is in Matthew 17:5 While he was still speaking, behold, a bright cloud overshadowed them; and suddenly a voice came out of the cloud, saying, “This is My beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased. Hear Him!”   No mystery there, seeking the will of God is to hear His Son.

The good news about the worsening world conditions is the constant hope that’s found in Jesus. Jesus saves! Not only is Christ the Bridge that reconciles sinners with God, He is our Peace with God. Peace comes from all your sins being eternally forgiven through faith in Christ. Romans 5:1 Therefore, having been justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ,

Obedience to God the Father is a lifelong process of becoming more and more like God the Son. No one is perfect in this life, but seeing your life transformed through the years is the working miracle of God the Holy Spirit. Knowing the assurance of you salvation in Christ comes from surrendering your will, life, heart, soul and mind to Jesus.

Colossians 2:2 that their hearts may be encouraged, being knit together in love, and attaining to all riches of the full assurance of understanding, to the knowledge of the mystery of God, both of the Father and of Christ,

There is no middle ground. Either you believe in Jesus or you do not. The future is either heaven or hell.

Next on the calendar of prophetic events is the rapture, Christ taking away His believers, off the earth. After that, for those who are left behind, follows the seven year tribulation when wickedness will increase. Because of their disbelief many will believe the lies of the men and women who are controlled by Satan. In what persona will the Captain of Lies manifest himself with fake claims of having the solution to cure the world’s woes?

2 Thessalonians 2:10-12 because they did not receive the love of the truth, that they might be saved. 11 And for this reason God will send them strong delusion, that they should believe the lie, 12 that they all may be condemned who did not believe the truth but had pleasure in unrighteousness.

Now, God is gracious and patient, wanting all to be saved and none to perish.

God will regenerate the souls of those who call upon Jesus, with new spiritual life. Only Jesus can save a soul. Acts 4:12 “Nor is there salvation in any other, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved.”

Follow the calling of your heart, receive the love of the truth, and find peace with God in Lord Jesus.
