The Wisdom of China

Michael D. Rourke Motivation for Writing 0 0

A clear look back at the Puritan roots of Christianity in America is to look at how the blessings from God flowed to bless His people.

Security and prosperity followed America’s beginnings to live in honor of God.

Why haven’t other countries followed America’s lead in believing in Jesus?

Ancient China is learning.

Allowing the BEST Chinese society to grow is to allow people to worship Jesus. The Christian believers in China are growing and so is the wisdom of China, learning from our mistakes and blessings from God.

Christian’s fill their joy with the grace from God. To know, worship and live daily to honor God, is to love His Son Jesus and reflect that love in our lives.

Christians help others, obey laws, do good things for believers and non-believers and work hard, all to honor God first in their lives.

Obedience to God first is the Christian goal and living it out benefits the society they live in.

What leaders would not want good Christian citizens to flourish in society and be upright examples to youth in their early years of training? Intelligent youth without God is not the future.

A good future is a healthy worship of the God of the Bible. America had it!

Any country can see the blessings found in early America’s rich Christian history. Anyone can see how much America has moved away from God. Consequently God drew back.

The people of Europe, Russia and the Middle East could also be thriving like China. Even South America could reap the blessings of God.

Only if people abandon all false religion’s including Catholicism and embrace Christ in faith alone, Christ alone, the Bible alone in God’s grace alone, will souls be saved from hell.

It is interesting how God shows the world how only He could bless the Hebrew people in the Old Testament and remains faithful today.

Time after time in the Old Testament the Jewish people turned away from God in disobedience. They suffered and cried out to God for mercy.

God forgave them and blessed them and then they repeated their disobedience, and God forgave, etc.     But history doesn’t always repeat.

America began in blessings, climbed in blessings and peaked in blessings. But like the Hebrews, America has disobeyed and turned its back on God.

Unlike the O T Jews the majority of Americans are not crying out to God for mercy.

Without repentance of sins and godly sorrow in grieving God there can be no true forgiveness of sins.

Like many Jews today, many Americans don’t believe Jesus is God the Messiah.

The sin of pride prevents the necessary humility needed in accepting God’s grace.

How much pain will come before more souls cries out to God for mercy?

Can people learn from America’s mistakes and from past blessings, from a gracious God who waits in love for His own to call to Him through Jesus?
