Life is a mix of common expectations and the Wonderful. That’s why I inquired as to someone’s status with being a born-again Christian or not. If they were, they would share their excitement.
Some say they are Christian but cannot commit to saying they are born-again, that is sad. John 3: 3 Jesus answered and said to him, “Most assuredly, I say to you, unless one is born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.” Instead of having a spiritually alive biblically grounded relationship with the living God, people are enamored with things to enjoy.
All the STUFF stops at the grave. Earth is a graveyard. Only the Wonderful, Bible based relationship with Jesus is eternal and will endure in magnificence forever. Time on earth passes very, very quickly. In the time left, I earnestly pray the Lord will draw to Himself more and more of His, those who will receive Him.
Those who think big and think about what will last forever. Go with God. Hope the Lord will bring more in contact with a Bible believing Christian. What will they do?
Peter said in Acts 2:40-42, 46-47 And with many other words he testified and exhorted them, saying, “Be saved from this perverse generation.” 41 Then those who gladly[a]received his word were baptized; and that day about three thousand souls were added to them. 42 And they continued steadfastly in the apostles’ doctrine and fellowship, in the breaking of bread, and in prayers. 46 So continuing daily with one accord in the temple, and breaking bread from house to house, they ate their food with gladness and simplicity of heart, 47 praising God and having favor with all the people. And the Lord added to the church[b] daily those who were being saved.
The Lord will build His church. Verse 47 And the Lord added to the church[b] daily those who were being saved.
