To Be A Rap Star

To Be A Rap Star

Could the perils of the planet we face be a tool of God? Perhaps God is allowing or forcing people to recognize the one-way street of life we all live on. Is God squeezing humanity into a corner twisting the arms until people cry Uncle?  God help me!

Sadly, most people
are living in an angry, hostile world of division, fear and natural
expectations.

On a planet with
repeating lighthouse flashes of media driven messages “Save our dying planet.”

The far too often TV,
radio, internet, newspaper or magazine news headline text is “Save the planet.”

The subtext is “the planet is dying, we are killing the planet, we are committing mass murder.”

Is there any wonder why there are so many teen suicides? Adolescents face horror as politics, race, sex, religion etc. all DIVIDE

Earth is dying, people are doomed and all we here about is unity. That’s no answer. That’s insanity.

People want to believe in science, when more and more science is pointing to God. There had to be something to cause the Big Bang.

The answer is Supernatural, is God.

Yet, still, few
people want to openly talk about the soul and what kind of eternity comes after
the grave.

The idea of
reincarnation is completely absurd. Consider how humans have managed the planet
this far. Who would want to return to live on a doomed planet?

Whatever ideology a person has, for the most part of
their life, they are still developing that belief system, that way of life,
until the breath stops.

Sometimes our ideology and paradigm building use what
is attractive or popular. Garbage in garbage out, or good stuff in good stuff
out. Preferably less garbage and more good stuff.

Of course, this idea depends on the definition and use
of the word’s garbage and good.

So far, very few people want to discuss what comes
next. Except true Christians sure about their gift of salvation.

There is hope, there
is love.1 John 4:8 New American Standard Bible (NASB) 8 The one who does not
love does not know God, for God is love.

John 14:6 New King James Version (NKJV)

6 Jesus said to him, “I am the way,
the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me

A Pastor told me once, “Don’t let the good keep you from the Best.”

Today on planet earth, people are running around without their priorities in order. They think they want to save the planet, which is a huge graveyard, then die and then what?

Without Creator God, The Best, people live and die without hope.

Today, my
lyric writing and song development have led me to helping high school students.

By offering
insight with a simple positive alternative message of perseverance and
attaining goals, perhaps young people will search beyond what is good and find
the Best.

“To Be A Rap
Star” is a lyric that speaks of life, dreams, education and goal setting.

This song is unlike many
other rap songs, written in prose form with run-on sentences. A group of words
without structure promoting negative ideas and un-rhymed tangential comments.

Rap Star is a short
lyric to show the structure and benefit of cadence, metering and rhyming.

An example to
demonstrate repeatable lyrical rhythm and the listeners expectation of the same
in the next verse, chorus, bridge, to reinforce memory.

Music that also has a
repeatable structure of expectation.

Unlike rap songs with unstructured lyrics of discontent, anger, hostility,
cursing, bullying, violence and sexual content.

There is a good path, a good way to aim for in youthful life. But don’t let the
good keep you from the Best. Love.

                                             “To Be A Rap Star”

Singing like a rap star

Riding in your car

As you learn from your mistakes

Cause curves in the road

Lighten up your load

You have to have lucky brakes

Making some music, in boom town, amplify          (Rap Star)

Talking double quick, getting down, riding high    (Rap Star)

To Be A Rap Star, life is love, fill your cup            (Rap Star)

To Be A Rap Star, give your love, live it up              (Rap Star)

. It’s ’s a one-way street

Got an extra seat

Your hope is coming in view

On a trip to fame

Bright light on your name

Driving on dream avenue

Chorus

Life is an action, an education, a graduation, some expectation

For compensation, take a vacation, make conversation, get satisfaction
