At times there is a bridge of God’s grace to cross, for tightening our union with God. Other times there is a ravine of His grace requiring a more deliberate intent to cross, reaching the unity of intimacy with God.
Either way it is the grace of God. We are blessed as He allows us to engage. Complying is our challenge on a daily basis. Every day we strive forward, praying, reading His Word, meditating on the things of God and living in the joy of worshiping Him.
The heart is deceitful, thank God for His Word to correct our ways and to set us straight, keep us on a path to please Him in worship. Loving forgiveness is found in the Lord, it’s part of life on planet earth. Thank God our citizenship is in heaven.
Pray for God to search your heart, your motives and clear your conscience of confusion. He gives us love with His truth. The Bible is true.
Pray often, daily, for the heart is deceitful and needs constant care, only God knows the heart of a man. Jeremiah 17:9 “The heart is deceitful above all things, And [a]desperately wicked; Who can know it?”
Ecclesiastes 5:2 Do not be rash with your mouth,
And let not your heart utter anything hastily before God.
For God is in heaven, and you on earth;
Therefore let your words be few.
Psalm 46:10 Be still, and know that I am God;
I will be exalted among the nations,
I will be exalted in the earth!
Proverbs 3:5 Trust in the Lord with all your heart,
And lean not on your own understanding;
6 In all your ways acknowledge Him,
And He shall [a]direct your paths.
We live in increasingly desperate times. But God has provided the way to peace with Him, only through faith in Lord Jesus Christ, the only Redeemer of souls.
Jesus said in, Matthew 11:28 New King James Version (NKJV) “Come to Me, all you who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.”
