The Threshold

Death has been comfortably ignored for the most part, up to now. But, as always death is a sure thing.

Avoiding the subject of death has been a family trait in the family of the Devil. Satan likes people to stay away from the conversation of death. Because talk about death will bring up talk about God.

God wants all people to unite through faith in God the Son, Lord Jesus. Jesus came to save souls from hell.

Satan hates God for many reasons and keeping people divided through his deceptions is the work of the Devil. Satan is a liar and deceiver and wants people divided.

Up to now the topic of death has been shrouded in the code word of religion.

Religion is lumped in with the other unmentionables, money and politics. As the saying goes “Don’t talk about money, politics or religion unless you want to start a fight.”

So, people don’t talk about such topics at family events or as guests at a party.  Don’t ruffle the feathers.

However, the sense of desperation is increasing as people see, hear and feel the anger and frustration in the world.

People, the movers and shakers, are trying to gain control of the runaway train of lost humanity reveling in sin. They hope to make the planet perfect, ALL WITHOUT GOD.

That’s all unbelievers can do when they refuse to receive Lord Jesus. Relying on science and denying God as they throw money at the problem and bank on human ingenuity.

They refuse to concede and admit human achievement, brain power, etc. is a gift from God.  Almighty God is gracious and His grace saves sinners through faith in Jesus..

Their pride and awareness of impending doom has them scurrying about making alterations to social life styles on the graveyard called earth.

God waits patiently still offering Jesus to all as He draws His own to Himself through the only Savior of souls and hope, Christ Jesus.

Up to now, for the most part, people left God out of conversations. Most people will not receive Jesus and will suffer eternally.

But young people are now increasingly in jeopardy as is the future of earth.

Millennial suicides are tragic. Unless a person is secure about their future in eternity with God, living on earth is hopeless.

Because of desperation the topics of climate, environment, global warming etc. are being talked about with young people more and more, henceforth, fear is rising.

God squeezes conditions and puts pressure on systems for people to call out to Him.

Instead,  people are faced with using the phrase “Save the planet.”  The subtext is becoming more and more understood, “earth is a graveyard.”

Save earth or what? Death was and is always a sure thing. Save your soul is most important.                S.O.S.

Universal death is the subtle meaning behind global warming. Death will become a wide spread topic of conversation. 

Thank God for His wisdom and love to allow the slow grinding down of people’s resistance toward Him. He still allows people to choose to receive His gift of salvation through Jesus.

In God’s perfect time He will burn earth up and move onto His next step of His plans.

2 Peter 3:7 But the heavens and the earth which are now preserved by the same word, are reserved for fire until the day of judgment and perdition of ungodly men.

2 Peter 3:12 looking for and hastening the coming of the day of God, because of which the heavens will be dissolved, being on fire, and the elements will melt with fervent heat?

The new heavens and new earth will come when God is ready.

Revelation 21:1 Now I saw a new heaven and a new earth, for the first heaven and the first earth had passed away. Also there was no more sea. New King James Version

Jesus said in, Matthew 12:30 He who is not with Me is against Me, and he who does not gather with Me scatters abroad.

The next event in God’s plans is the rapture. A quick snatching away of those who believe in Jesus. The dead shall rise first, then the living will meet Christ in the air.

Off the face of the earth and in the presence of God. Maranatha, come Lord Jesus.

After the rapture the time of Tribulation will begin with increasing evil let loose on the earth.  Hell’s fury will rage on earth and end in Armageddon.  Jesus is victorious.

Jesus said in Matthew 11:28 ^28 “Come to Me, all you who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.”
