Thank God American Christian religious freedom was found far away from the European persecution of it.

Bible believing, God fearing, God worshiping Americans were blessed to live out genuinely transformed lives as their self-determination and love for God grew.

Like men and women in the Bible, early Americans could similarly identify and vicariously live those struggles and glories in the plan of God. They and all true Christians are born again, born with souls spiritually alive communing with God as the Bible teaches.

The blessings of God grew and a great nation was raised with the faith of believers resting in Jesus. The reason others reject God, the Bible and a Savior is because they love their sin.

As America moved on, fewer lives were vicariously identifying with those in the Bible. Christianity became weekend by the dilution of the onslaught of European nonbelievers.

Matthew 7:13-14 “Enter by the narrow gate; for wide is the gate and broad is the way that leads to destruction, and there are many who go in by it. Because narrow is the gate and difficult is the way which leads to life, and there are few who find it.”

Without the genuine enthusiasm of a changed life and without the shared dedication in reading the Bible, vicarious living through the Bible is a remnant compared to what it was. Bible teaching has become less consequently Bible learning is less.

Over centuries of compromise apathy toward God has kept creeping in with false conversions generating hypocrisy and hardness of heart against God and Scripture has grown.

To help usher in biblical resistance decades ago, movie making and television became the replacement to fill the void of families humbly passing on the word of God.

Various forms of entertainment flourished capturing a person’s time. Self-gratification brought on an exaggerated sense of self-esteem and humility in America toward God withered.

Thank God in 2016 there are Christian films being made with more biblical content for audiences looking for a good story telling the truth of God for all the family to watch.

Pray these movies don’t follow Hollywood’s pattern of showing 85 minutes of evil, sin, anything goes to show the ends justify the means, with 5 minutes of good tagged onto the end.

If the movie and the actors do not have the motive of honoring God first they will miss the mark.

Crime, lustful passion, vice, violence and various sinful life styles don’t deserve the precious investment of the viewer’s time and money. Violent video games acted out onto America is doing far too much damage just as animated violence is no longer talked about.

Movies, music, live entertainment and now the computer internet attached to us with hand held devices has greatly replaced the true purpose in life of putting God first.

When the primary motive of movie making is to make money, regardless of the content, vicarious living through their ill motives off false truth is fleeting and offers no hope.

No type of Hollywood can substitute the journey of real life drama and the true excitement of life with God. Only prayer can move the hand of God to initiate His saving grace.

When God uses movies and music to convict a lost soul of sin and bring them to true repentant salvation by His grace, praise the Lord.

Being a transform soul with faith in the living God is the highest calling and true adventure.

To identify with our Creator God in love, to honor and worship Him brings real meaning to our existence. Having God first in your life brings peace.

A promise of Jesus is found in John 14:27 Peace I leave with you, My peace I give to you; not as the world gives do I give to you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.

Therefore the highest quest is bonding with eternal God, it is the pinnacle of existence.

Life without a healthy fear of God is like living in a patchwork of ups and downs. As time drags people to the graveyard without a Savior in their self-absorbed, prideful and hopeless state they are eternally bound to hell.

Because God hates sin America continues to slide down the back side of the mountain of greatness. Rapidly being removed from the top of receiving God’s many blessing, is the new normal in America.

Increasingly liberal America legalizes more sin, broadcasts more sin on the news like it’s a badge of honor and pride fully won’t admit sin is killing us as a nation.

Misdirection by sin, even a few hundreds of years of it can’t stop an act of God. Becoming born-again, spiritually alive in America with the Holy Spirit of God leading your life, still happens.

Thankfully God saves the souls of people who turn to Him in humility seeking forgiveness for their sins. True spiritual life bonding with the King of salvation, Jesus the Messiah, Savior of believer’s, is a gift of God’s grace.

Only prayer can bring the grace to soften a hard heart. Jesus paid the penalty of all sin, but only those who believe are saved from hell.

John 3:16 For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.

Believing comes from first asking God for faith in His plan = God is real, God is Jesus, and only Jesus saving souls is the plan.

Thank God for being alive and you can thank Him for heaven when you can thank Him for Jesus.

Only prayer from a heart truly turning from sin will be a prayer that’s heard.
