Genesis 1:1 In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth. = If people don’t believe the Bible, what do they believe? What? They – maybe – are descendants of monkeys?
Or are they the product of a big bang out of nothing? But something had to be there to blow up. Something caused the Bang. So how can you have something out of nothing?
Either way, life as a relative to a monkey or a product from nothing, they are without a purpose for living on earth and have no hope as to where they go after their last breath.
Beyond common sense, there is having faith to believe the Bible. There is hope trusting in God’s biblical teachings while walking with God. There is hope in Jesus Christ as God, Savior and Lord of your life. He alone will usher believers into heaven with Him, past that last breath.
Without Jesus, what hope do people have beyond the grave? Looking at less time each day on earth? It’s clear to see earth as a graveyard. With God there is eternity. With Jesus in your life there is purpose each day in honoring God our Creator. The promised hope of heaven given to the children of God also brings peace with Him on a daily basis. The real peace that only gets better.
Romans 8:1 There is therefore now no condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus, who do not walk according to the flesh, but according to the Spirit.
Without the Bibles firm foundation to stand on and guide our decisions in this life toward what will come, there is just our opinion. Opinion changes with situations and time and prevailing attitudes, all shifting with popularity, but without the security of lasting, solid ground.
Almighty God is immutable. Hebrews 13:8 Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today, and forever.
The challenges in the world are beyond enormous for mere everyday people to overcome. Divisions in America are far from the positive half of “United we stand, divided we fall” and more in the negative half as outcomes and results get worse.
We once were a nation with a strong majority of Christian beliefs recognizing God’s absolute authority and His Bible teachings. The Almighty created all things and that truth was believed.
God is real! and other foundations of truth and Bible precepts were taught in schools for hundreds of years. People had courage to believe.
God was honored and feared in a healthy way by the majority. America enjoyed God’s protections and could count on a future for their kids. These days the hand of God pulls back.
In 1925 the ACLU argued against teaching God as Creator and argued for replacing God with Darwin’s theory of evolution, and won. Four or five generations later “Look at America now.”
Each Bible verse is what God wants us to know, cover to cover, they are wholly inerrant, infallible, and trustworthy. Believe it, all of it or not. Nowhere does the Bible say – pick and choose what you want and leave the rest. It’s either all or nothing.
Because God the Holy Spirit wrote the Bible it is the true word of God. God’s word tells us in 2 Peter 1:21 for prophecy never came by the will of man, but holy men of God spoke as they were moved by the Holy Spirit. 2 Timothy 3:16-17 All Scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness, that the man of God may be complete, thoroughly equipped for every good work.
God our Creator is ready, willing and far more than able to help each person who seeks Him. John 14:6 Jesus said to him, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me.
Our Holy Father saves one soul at a time and no one knows how much longer He will endure this progressively evil world we are living in before He brings judgement. Hell waits.
Revelation 3:20 Behold, I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears My voice and opens the door, I will come in to him and dine with him, and he with Me.
