What’s around the corner? I do know. But, I do know who does know, my Father God. In His gift of faith I trust Him. Eph. 2:8-9
Of all the avenues and streets of thought there is only one way to go through this life in complete confidence and preparation for heaven. By way of the cross of Christ.
Go through the narrow gate which is Lord Jesus the only Righteousness One. God’s truth is found in the Bible. Matthew 7:13-14
Trust Jesus as Savior, in faith alone. Not your deeds, works, self merit, number of prayers or what ever you do to think you’re earning your way to heaven.
Many people are self deceived by their own efforts in being good or on the path of false religion with it’s traditions and self righteousness based on believing your good enough. Or that you’re not that bad. BUT we read in Matthew 5:48 Therefore you shall be perfect, just as your Father in heaven is perfect.
Matthew 7:13-14 “Enter by the narrow gate; for wide is the gate and broad is the way that leads to destruction, and there are many who go in by it. Because narrow is the gate and difficult is the way which leads to life, and there are few who find it.” God gives us help in our daily journey of faith.
If time, situations, opportunities, failures or whatever puts you in a spot of wondering what’s around the corner, be of good cheer. Come to the Lord. Jesus saves souls from hell.
There is no avoiding the struggles of this life but there is a way to avoid the broad way of destruction that most of the people of this world are on. The self-deceived.
Ask yourself, how many people do you know that really love the Lord Jesus? If they don’t they’re (so far) on the broad path that leads to destruction, hell and torment forever.
Because Jesus is the gate and difficult is the way which leads to life, there are few who find it. God the Father, God the Son Jesus and God the Holy Spirit are One God, offer help.
One God, One Savior, One Way to get to heaven and worship our Creator God and extol His holiness with the angels. John 14:6 Jesus said to him, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me.”
Revelation 4:8 “Holy, holy, holy Lord God Almighty, Who was and is and is to come!”
This doomed prideful world hates Jesus for His path is not lined with glitter and gold. People love there lustful greedy sins more than hope of true eternal life.
Following Jesus is not for the weak at heart or those hoping for only temporary pleasures. When He calls you, come, and He will never leave you if you receive Him.
The Bible teaches how to live a life that will please God. STOP. Only with Jesus in your heart, will you receive the Holy Spirit of God, living within, this is the way to peace and paradise.
Life with faith in Christ will have many failures to strengthen you. But in the steady progress of humble obedience and bonding closer with Jesus, God the Son, is there growing faith.
Acts 4:12 Nor is there salvation in any other, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved. — Jesus —
Be saved, be sure of the assurance of salvation and be of good cheer King Jesus is coming soon for His people, those who love Him in sincerity.
Ephesians 6:24 Grace be with all those who love our Lord Jesus Christ in sincerity. Amen
